Intern – Investment Analyst
Whitewood is on the lookout for an intern to join its investment team for a 2 to 6 months period. Within Whitewood, this team is responsible for analyzing investment opportunities, preparing investor pitches, designing financial structures, and reporting on ongoing investments. For this role, a presence of 3 days/week with the team in Brussels is required, as this is key for a valuable learning experience.
Your role:
- Prepare financial analysis for potential investments, including financial statements, cash flow models, and profitability metrics.
- Conduct in-depth research on various investment opportunities and provide insights into potential risks and rewards, industry specifics forecasts.
- Prepare investment reports to update clients on their investments.
All these activities will be coordinated by the investment manager, and the CIO, ensuring a valuable experience and learning opportunity.
Your profile:
- Bachelors in engineering (commercial / civil)
- Masters in finance, Economics, or a related field (can be ongoing)
- Strong interest for financial markets, investment principles, and risk management.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Speak French or Dutch, and English
