Whitewood Revitalizing Brussels

Author: Frédéric Van der Planken

Together with Cityforward, Ethias, and FPIM, Whitewood has acquired and transformed over 21 obsolete office buildings from the European Commission

This €880 million deal is a big step forward towards revitalizing the European
neighborhood, creating a vibrant mix of offices, housing, and public spaces by 2030.

In the words of Philippe Close, Mayor of Brussels, this project is a “game changer,” and we couldn’t agree more.

Whitewood believes in the power of sustainable development and the importance of creating dynamic urban spaces.

This transformation will not only enhance the architectural landscape, but also contribute to a more lively and integrated community in our capital.
