Revitalizing Brussels’ European District with Sustainable and Innovative Design

We embarked on a quest to find the perfect architect to redesign our Belliard-Trèves site in Brussels, a project that marks a significant milestone for the Cityforward portfolio, which aims to revitalize the European district.

NWLND, Jeroen Provoost, and ALTSTADT have collaborated to deliver a clear and ambitious vision that impressed our jury. Their effort to balance the respect for the architectural and historic values of the Brussimmo building with the transformation of outdated office spaces into sustainable, innovative workspaces perfectly meets the needs of the future. The jury praised their experience with the creative use of circular materials and their clear focus on landscaping, which we believe will set a new standard for biophilic urban development.
